Why participate in Camp Good News this summer?
Camp Good News is an action-packed day camp for children ages 5-12. Campers will have a blast playing sports and
games, getting creative with arts and crafts, meeting new friends, getting to know our energetic staff, learning about the
Bible, and more!
Does my child have to attend both weeks of camp?
You can sign up your child to attend either one session or both.
Who staffs Camp Good News?
Camp Good News is directed by the staff of CEF Columbia-Midlands, and our Christian Youth In Action summer missionaries
serve as counselors during the two weeks of camp. All staff and counselors have been screened, interviewed,
and thoroughly trained to work with children ages 5-12. Note: our counselors are not qualified to work with children
under the age of 5, nor are they equipped to work with children who have special needs or severe medical issues. If

How much does Camp Good News cost?
Camp Good News is only $100 per session! What a bargain price for nine hours
of quality child care per day, for five days! There is also a non-refundable $20 deposit due with the
application, to ensure a spot for your child. Pre-care (7:30am-8:30am) and After-care (5:30pm-6:00pm) are also available
at an additional cost of $10 each per day.
Where is Camp Good News held?
Camp Good News takes place at our CEF Columbia-Midlands office location on 500 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29210.
CEF shares the building with Ben Lippen Elementary School and Sea Coast church.
What are the dates for Camp Good News 2010?
Session 1: July 12-16
8:30am-5:30pm
Session 2: July 19-23 8:30am-5:30pm
