Child Evangelism Fellowship®, also known as CEF® is pleased to announce the establishment of the Palmetto Chapter
serving Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties. Good News Clubs (GNC) have been operating in the Summerville, SC area
under the Orangeberg chapter for 4 years. Currently we have 5 clubs in four schools. Please pray that our board
as they undertake the "God-sized" task of establishing a Good News Club in every one of the 78 elementary schools in the Palmetto
District.

Currently, The Palmetto District, has one paid staff member, County
Coordinator, Shannon Staples. She has been and continues to be a shinning example of what CEF is all about. While
she is considered part time we could not ask for a more dedicated, open, or motivated individual. She has a burning
passion to see our children changed by the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As a board, we know that our biggest challenge is going to be to expend
half the energy that Shannon does and to cast the vision that she has established over the tri-county area. As the Lord
works through us and opens opportunities, we will be amazed at the revival that He will spread over our district.
Thank you, Shannon, for your tireless efforts and we look forward to
working with you in this wonderful ministry.
