What is a Good News Club?
A Good
News Club is a one hour, one day a week, Bible club for children ages 5-12. Local Christians who are concerned for boys
and girls work together volunteering their time and energy to teach at these clubs. These volunteers undergo background
checks and are trained by Child Evangelism Fellowship to conduct a Good News Club that is exciting and informative for each
child. Good News Clubs are held after school in our public schools. Churches "adopt" a school and volunteers
from the church take the Word of God to the children. Please
contact our office to find out how your church can be involved in this worthwhile home missions opportunity.
Every elementary school
can and should have a Good News Club!
The purpose of Good News Club is to evangelize boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ and disciple them in the Word
of God. Good News Clubs are interdenominational. No denominational doctrines are stressed. While volunteer
teachers teach and promote things that almost all Christian churches agree on, children of any religion or no religion are
welcome.
Why teach a Good News Club?
Over 70% of the children in South Carolina do not attend Sunday School or church.
There are children throughout your community who need to hear the gospel, accept Christ, and be discipled. If you want
to make a difference in a life, in a society, and in our world...be a Good News Club teacher!
